ok im happy again.. haha.OK so lets start with london.. it was a really nice trip. =@) to summarise:- fri night:met up with ling ching at her halls of residence where she cooked me and her friends tandoori chicken with brown rice ( ever so healthy she is) and had a really nice chit chat session over dark chocolate and plums. haha- sat:saw my darling sabina, took me forever to find her lil house which she shares with 4 other medics but got there in the end. had a really nice time at portobello market where I made my one and only purchase - a beautful mint coloured mullberry lookalike bag. walked along high street kensington with her before saying good bye- next met up with deborah! at harrods.. but we didnt stay long and walked along knightsbridge area.. i was quite grumpy by then cos i had been on my feet for like 6.5 hours? haha.. went bk to hails flat and dieded on my bed.- sunday: met up with astrid! in china town and had a meal at wong kei - which is famous for its terrible service haha.. and it did live up to its name. walked around covent garden for a bit which was very nice.. my fav area in london! - next met up with Em and had a quick tea with her in Cafe Nero at Warren street station. was really nice to catch up with her as haddent seen her since wycombe days.. =@) - next went to St Pancreas station to meet josh( who had just arrived) and deborah to collect a big box of "stuff" from my darling baby. it contained TONS of food! i think about 5 or 6 packs of instant meegoreng and instant soup noodles! and like 6 boxes of prima deli mixes including flavours like Laksa, chicken rice, mee rubus, chicken curry! wahhh... shiok! haha.. down side was that i had to lug it back to edinburgh. haha.- at night went for meal at YO! sushi with hails and her sister... conveyer belt style... but hardly up to the mark of the sushi places in singapore... sakae sakae... i miss you. =@( retired into the night with ben and jerrys....- monda: woke up terribly late.. wwalked around oxford street for a while by myself to see if i could buy anything.. but it was soooo crowded and the shops were like uber big hence i couldnt find anything ( i know it doesnt make sense but yeah la, too much choice hard to zero in on what you want!) ... discovered to my surprise that the topshop on oxford street even has manicure stations in there now, PLUS a topshop cafe which serves KRISPY KREMES! ahha.. so i bought one just for the hell of it and it was GOOOD... tad sweet.. but yums. - met up with ruth at clapham later on.. had a really nice catch up session at starbucks and then rushed off to meet my aunty mich for dinner! treated me to a yummy malaysian meal at a place called melati.- tuesday: woke up late again... went for chinese food in china town again with hails and her sister.. then it was time to leave to go bk on the train.. took 5 hours.. was exhausted when i got bk..actually this london trip has made me realise how much i appreciate edinburgh. for its non-busyness, relaxed atmosphere and princess strreet which is actually shoppable. London is just way tiring, transport system is terribly expensive.. but dont get me wrong, its GREAT for a lil getaway..+@)ok that wasnt really much of a summary more like a detailed entry.. but yeah HAPPY HALLOOWEEEN! going for party tonight and i JUST bought my costume.. hahaa youll see in the pics later on what i went as.. hehehe.

well wel.. this was supposed to be a happy post about my trip to london, but i guess ill leave that for the weekend.. hai. feeling totally crappy now.. been likethis for 28 hours now.. im such a fool somtimes.. i always end up digging this big hole around me.. and sometimes expect myself to be pulled out of it.. but no im not and i sink furthur in.. hai. been feeeling so crappy the entire day.. like this gigantic knot at the bottom of my stomach.. nearly couldnt pull myself ontot the dance floor tonight at salsa, thank God for mary who has been absolutely wonderful.. salsa did make me feel better.. but the hole is still there. i hope and pray everything gets bk to normal tomorrow.. i feel like a desperate chicken. dont ask me why a chicken, its a catchy term. gah. im such a stupid girl. i do apologise for a depressing post. its therapeutic to a certain extent.

ok hello.. been a while.. having one those nights cum days. been free since about 11am this morning.. no im not complainin.. but what have i achieved today? eh absolutely nothin, cept going through one lecture on parkinsons. plus the boy fell asleep again.. dont blame him, lnats comin up.. but i always seem to perk up and find it so much easier to work after hearin from him.. hai, even a goodnight call or message.
its also one of those days where im just hungry all the time.. and it so happens to coincide with an empty fridge ( of my stuff anyway).. been eating fried rice and leftover cauliflower cheese most of the day... you wont believe what im having as a snack now, yellow capscicums with satay sauce.. its actually quite nice. but to be fair ive developed a kinda angmoh palate, so i know how to appreciate eating "weird' stuff like raw capscicums. but nothin beats headin out to 6th avenue for prata. i miss home.. and i still dont have a confirmed ticket bk to singapore in dec.. gah. great.
looking forward to the comin weekend, will be enjoying a 5 hour train ride down to london on friday.. staying with hailey.. ( ex wycombe abbey school mate) and meeting up with a few long-tim-no -see friends. will be good.
feel awkward now seeing them.. cant really look them in the eye, told mary this.. mm how annoying. told mary its time to make more friends now.. argh, why arent there more asians in the course.
been having quite disturbing dreams lately.. which i shant reveal. dont wanna tell anyone what their about.. their just bad. please give me better dreams Lord..

another long day in school today.. followed by salsa again tonight! went on tuesday also and improved somuch in an hour cos there was some super experienced guy willin to teach a novice like me. Got completely soaked in the rain though..haha.
can i just say, im am eternally thankful to God for my best friend mary here in edinburgh.She is one of kind mad, crazy, loving , caring,thoughtful.. and the list goes on. SHe has made my life here in edinburgh so happy, with our laughing fits, our food and dessert binges, our lil shoppping sprees, and also she's my mood regulator and my emotional confider.. basically i love her to bits!
and the best thing? she thinks like a man... which is ever so useful is ya get what i mean.. hehe.
Im beginning to feel more like a mini docter now, did a proper respiratory examination on a patient on tuesday.. although i cant hear a darn thing with the stethiscope(?how to spell?)..had to practice onmy gp whohas THE hairiest chest ok... not so nice.. haha...he happily took my hand and pressed it over his chest/nipple area..separated by a thick layer of fur.. haha...nice..
anyway off to some projec t meeting now..

oops.. been a while. Ive had a pretty good week actually.. haha, had an AMAZING time at salsa class yesterday! went to try out a new class at cuba norte with mary/faizi/phongteck/clement. the 4 of them went for the beginners class first then I went for my intermediate class while they waited for me. The great thing was that there were actually enough guys for all the girls and we learnt pretty complex moves( well for my standard at least) which was like at JJsalsarengue. Most of my partners were very experienced salsa dancers so it was so nice to be led by an experienced dancer! haha.. had tons of fun and was on an endorphin high most of th enightt! haha.. think il lstop going to medina cos i dont get that much outta it and attend cuba norte 2x a week from now on! haha.. im becoming a salsaholic!=@)went for supper after that and had chippies which were hot and soggy and yummy! completely overate and was rolling back home after that! haha.. anyway bout to go to bed, got TONS of work to do tomorrow, been extremely unproductive tonight.. boohoo.

helloes..just in between lectures now at the uni com lab. mm had a good weekend actually! went for a really good movie called " the history of violence". it stars VIGGO MORTENSEN, .. who's that? ARAGON. yes.. he looks oh so sexy in the film though he's aged..but OO LALA. haha.. im quite certain singapore will rate it RA. VERY sexually explicit. hahaa... oh wells..then saturday i stayed in a attempted to work, only managed to start at like 230 in the afternoon then at night was dinner at a friends place. We had a vegetarian meal, which was pretty good, cos Chantelle's jewish. anyway, the real fun started later on! haha..went to Red Marakesh, a morocon place to "smoke" shisha..i hate saying the word smoke, but there's really no other way to say it. mm anyway got a lil high on cranberry vodka at matthews place before playing a stupid drinking game, then headed off to the place where we ordered cappuccino and mint flavoured shisha. the cap one was ok only.. but the mint was nice! could really taste the menthol in your mouth.. haha. anyway W was realllyyyyy annoying? at the table, he was practically nearly making out with X and saying stupid annoying things. ugh. how grosss... anyway had a good laugh, and feeling the floaty effects of the vodka.. which is always nice until you have no idea whats going on. But i was generally aware of my surroundings that night. mm.. was walked back by 2 guys.. THANK YOU... and dosed off in my bed. anyway on sunday, actually dragged myself to the driving range which was oh so far away! had to take 2 buses plus walk another 10-15 min in.. so all in all my journey there took like an hour plus, and i was only there for like 30 min then had to journey all the way back. I was hitting rubbish that day.. well considerin i havent played for 2.5 weeks plus getting used to wearing my clothes and the wind. hopefuly ill improve.. mmmzz..
