the holidays are ending already.... leaving this monday.. but ive had a SUPERB holiday and to top it all off with a big bang - BEN GOT INTO CAMBRIDGE!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!.. i was in utter shock when he called me.. man miracles do happen. what were the odds man? he was practically competing for one place.. but he totally deserved it and im SOOOOO proud of him!! hehee..
anyway this holiday has been great, what with my mum's 50h birthday celebration party which was a blast! followed by christmas which was a simple affair, followed by my birthday ( FINALLY joined the 20s club - haha) which was a pretty normal day but with a continuous air of excitement throughout the day.. ben came over and surprised me with my "ONLY" birthday present - sara lee chocolate cake. so i was like " oh.. mm thats nice.. heh.. er thanks.." haha.. then he sneakily went out and brought in the REAL thing - a pair of GEOXx shoes which i had seen and loved at the shop in paragon! haha.. he had sneaked out during his lunch time at work to buy them.. =@) then watched american pie 4 - band camp.. which was a quite funny.. and just spent the rest of the day bumming followed by an exquisite french dinner at st pierree!! =@) 'twas a good birthday indeed...
then new years eve - dinner was characterised by chilli crab, cheese crab, pepper crab falling out of our ears , then lobster noodles.. and DENNNNN... lobster porridge!! can you imagine? goodness... it was ben's grandmothers birthday dinner la.. haha
then we went bk to ben's house together with bens army friends - greg and stephen - 2 INCREDIBLY fun guys .. and nicole, adriel, mel...etc. played stupid drinking games like KINGS and got a lil bit tipsy which is always fun.. hahaa then at 3am we decided to troop off to macs and have supper! hahaha... it was crazy la.. but one of my best new yrs eve to date! =@)
these last few days have been made up off catchin up with old friends - namely xunyu, chuiling, josh.. and now i leave you with pictures - which indeed speak louder then words. =@)
