i havent a single scrap of work since coming bk. go me.
been submerged back under the same blanket of insecurity since coming back. ( and it is at this point where you go , oh no.. here she goes moaning bout life again) mm.. well dont read then. this blog is more therapeutic then anything. heh..
uni has been pretty ok since it started again.. got lotsa things to look forward to, namely, AMSTERDAM, chinese new yr ball which i will get to wear my goddess dress again.. must get mileage mah.. mm and like various meal outings which are always a treat rather then cooking which can be a pain. oh, and hopefully deborah comes up and visit me.. which will be nice, cos NO ONE has come to see me yet.. cos its " too far"... grr. haha.. only joking.
watched memoirs of a geisha the other day, was a really nice picturesque film , pretty well done i would say except that the fact that they spoke half-baked japanese accented english bugged me. but i guess if it were subtitled it would have cut the box office in half. but yeah 3 GORGEOUS actresses to oggle at ( YES women are allowed to oggle you know..) , my favourite being GONG LI, who is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stunning and drop dead gorgeous and dripping with sex appeal, she's the asian angelina jolie, the most symmetrical face you will ever see .. hahaa.. even i was drooling man..
AND following that, I subsequently borrowed 2 geisha bookes, one called " geisha" by lesley downer, and " geisha in gion" by this japanese woman who was once a geisha.. haha i know, bit obsessive right. but I LIKE.. nearly finished geisha.. skipped a bit of the history bits, just got the basic gist of the history of geisha cos after a while it was story after story about this famous geisha, that famous geisha, this temple dedicated to this geisha, this famous prince who fell in love with geisha, and commited love suicide.. blablabla. haha.. anyway i would so love to wear a kimono.. like the big big kinda, with a HUGE obi. someone out there.. a kimono please?
since we're on the japanese theme, can i say, i had such a BAD japanese meal for my friends birthday the other day. it was held at bonsai, and i paid 14 POUNDS, for like 5 thin-unfresh slices of salmon sashimi, 2 inari ( the beancurd with stuffed rice), 5 measly unfresh heavy battered prawn tempura, and a bowl of jap rice( 1.25 pounds!?!?!), yes. now i will not take jap food in singapore forgranted anymore.. man oh man. 14 pounds.. ouch.
mm also been reading up on the nazi doctor experiments.. go to

ah ok.. one of my longer posts for a while.. so i shall end here.. perhaps go do some pbl research.. i really need to get down to proper work..
